Step Into the Spooktacular World of Mandy Spooks

Mandy Spooks is a Latina horror director and screenwriter based in Denver, Colorado. She co-leads Ghoul Mates Entertainment™ alongside her husband and creative partner, Mister Spooks, where they develop and produce original horror projects together. After building the Ghoulster Squad, a global community of over 10,000 spooky women, Mandy was inspired to shift her focus toward filmmaking and is now on a mission to make horror for women. She believes horror can be created with love and intention from a female perspective—and still be just as gory and terrifying.

When she’s not writing or directing films, she shares how she’s living her best spooky life year-round: attending Halloween and horror events across Colorado, revisiting cult classics, keeping up with the latest in horror, indulging in self-scare, embracing spooky alternative fashion, and supporting small shops that help keep the spook alive all year. Along the way, she shares her thoughts on horror culture, films, and the genres she loves most.
